Sustainable tourism

Sustainable tourism

In 2018 we fell in love with this unique and magnificent place, a place steeped in history. From then we undertook the transformation of the agricultural hamlet, to share the beauty of this place with fond of history and old stones, lovers of unspoiled nature, and you who are looking for peace and quietude.

Aware of eco-gestures, and in the continuity of the "Marque Valeur Parc" awarded in 2021 by the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Natural Park, we are committed to participating in a tourism that respects, preserves and enhances the resources of our territory. This is what we applied during the transformation of the gites using tradiional materials and selected eco solution like phytoepuration and wood heating system. In 2022, the Domaine de Fontréal confirms its commitment to "Sustainable Tourism" with the ADT de l'Ardèche (Tourism Development Agency) with a study leading to an action plan on saving electricity, waste management and circular economy. En 2023, we set-up a photovoltaic system and in 2024 we started a carbon footprint assessment of our activity.

This place steeped in history whose roots go back to the Middle Ages, this unique Ardèche heritage will seduce you with its authenticity
